Time-series Analysis

Time-series analysis measures the existence of a phenomenon in relation to time. You make observations or measurements of the phenomena during a certain sequence of time. You categorise and describe the observations or measurements with statistical methods. Time-series analysis enables you to make conclusions on the background factors of the temporal changes of phenomena, or forecast the existence and quantity of the phenomena in the future. Trends, seasonal changes and business cycles can explain temporal changes.
